Jessica Mukethe Musila
Jessica Mukethe Musila is a seasoned policy analyst and communication specialist with strong conceptual, analytical, research, interpersonal communication and project management skills plus over 15 years working experience in governance & development in Greater Eastern Africa especially Kenya and Tanzania. For close to twenty years, Jessica has monitored political decision-making and its impact on: first, humanitarian response; secondly, bilateral aid projects affecting the public’s lived experience in the water, sanitation and the agriculture space and thirdly, parliaments and their citizen engagement, respectively. She has also undertaken research related to anti-corruption and trade pacts. Jessica has a passion for social justice and a commitment to empower the poor to push for better governance in Africa.
Jessica holds a Masters’ degree in Public Policy (International Affairs and Strategic Management), Erfurt School of Public Policy / Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt, Erfurt, Germany. Her thesis was “Civil Society influence on the European Union Economic Partnership Agreement Negotiations in Eastern Africa.” In addition, she has a Graduate Diploma of Professional Communication, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia, a Bachelor of Arts (Communication), Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya, and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), The Kenya High School
