A Certified Public Accountant, Anastacia Ruguru is an accounting and tax professional with over 10 years’ experience. Anastacia’s interests include financial literacy for M(SME)s, economic impact for communities to thrive through business sustainability, training and developing training modules for SMEs in agribusiness and hospitality, and leadership and management mentorship for entrepreneurs.

A Business Development, finance and tax advisor, Anastacia is an Associate consultant with Beryl Consult Limited and provides different services to SMEs including: entrepreneur needs assessment and production of high-quality reports for stakeholders, mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs in agribusiness and hospitality industries; working in multicultural environments and identifying transferrable initiatives within teams to benchmark; one-on-one consulting, coaching and training to empower entrepreneur knowledge in financial literacy and tax for business sustainability and growth; team lead and participation in events, ideation and activities towards the organization offering sales and success, preparation and delivery of training in finance and tax for entrepreneurs in various industries.
Anastacia has worked for various top-tier audit firms including Deloitte & Touche. Among the clients she handled were Airtel Kenya Limited, Airtel Rwanda Limited, Kenya Revenue Authority, Trans Century, PineBridge Investments Limited, Catalyst Management Services, KFW DEG, and the Children Investment Fund Foundation, Macro International, Wood Family Trust, Temenos East Africa, Vector Aerospace & Actis Africa Limited.

Ms Ruguru holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Tax Administration from Kenya School of Revenue Authority (KESRA); a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Egerton University; and is Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) earned through Kenya College of Accountancy.
